About the Role
Cardinal Health’s Global Business Services (GBS) Risk and Controls team helps strengthen the control environment across Global Business Financial Services. In this role, Finance Services Risk and Controls supports oversight and performance of core financial processes by implementing monitoring systems and assessing risks tied to current and future work.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial and operational activities using knowledge of auditing, accounting, and internal control concepts
- Use process flow and documentation knowledge to assess control design and execution
- Support monitoring and oversight of key finance operations including pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable, and employee travel & expense
- Identify, assess, and help mitigate risks associated with existing processes and upcoming projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve control effectiveness and reporting
Requirements
- Experience applying internal control and audit concepts to financial processes
- Strong understanding of finance operations such as billing, accounts payable, and expense processing
- Ability to analyze process flows and use process documentation to support control evaluations
- Demonstrated attention to detail and sound judgment in risk assessment
