About the Role
Join our team as a Material Control Supervisor in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’ll lead an hourly unionized group supporting key operations including receiving, packaging, replenishment, picking, and shipping. This role is focused on continuous improvement and delivering results across cost, quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities across receiving, packaging, replenishment, picking, and shipping
- Lead the team to meet operational objectives for cost, quality, safety, efficiency, and absenteeism
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring high-quality product output and alignment with production targets
- Monitor performance, address gaps proactively, and recognize strong execution
- Act as a safety champion by enforcing regulations and promoting a culture of vigilance
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Strong understanding of safety practices and operational performance metrics
- Ability to manage and coordinate teams across multiple workflow areas
- Experience driving continuous improvement and process adherence
