About the Role
Join Austin Habitat for Humanity ReStore as a Merchandising & Inventory Specialist, where you’ll manage purchased merchandise inventory across all ReStore locations. Reporting to the Director of Retail Strategy, you’ll balance administrative inventory responsibilities with hands-on merchandising to support accurate stock, strong product presentation, and smooth product movement.
Responsibilities
- Administer purchased merchandise inventory, including item setup and SKU creation
- Process purchase orders and maintain receiving records
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports to support retail decision-making
- Coordinate inventory transfers between locations
- Perform inventory adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy
- Execute approved merchandising plans to improve presentation and sales
- Support efficient product movement across store locations
Requirements
- Experience with inventory management, merchandising support, or retail operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
- Ability to create and maintain SKUs and product item information
- Comfort working with purchase orders, receiving documentation, and inventory reporting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across locations
