We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who has already made the shift to AI-native development. In this role, you’ll help translate ideas into well-defined specifications, orchestrate AI agents to accelerate delivery, and review the results to ensure quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Write clear backend engineering specifications that guide implementation and review
- Orchestrate AI agents to generate, implement, and iterate on backend features
- Review agent-delivered work for correctness, security, and maintainability
- Collaborate with product and engineering partners to deliver improvements end-to-end
- Contribute to system design, performance tuning, and operational readiness
Requirements
- Proven backend engineering experience with strong fundamentals in distributed systems and APIs
- Experience working in an AI-assisted or AI-native development workflow (e.g., spec-driven agent orchestration)
- Strong debugging skills and attention to code quality through reviews and testing
- Comfort operating across the software lifecycle, from design through deployment and monitoring
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly with teammates
