About the Role
Lyntris is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support defense technology programs. This position is contingent upon contract funding and will contribute to modeling and systems engineering efforts that connect sensing to action in contested environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system models to support requirements, architecture, and verification activities
- Translate mission needs into system-level designs using MBSE best practices
- Collaborate with engineering, software, and hardware teams to ensure model consistency across domains
- Support analysis and documentation to help stakeholders make informed technical decisions
- Assist with reviews and traceability from requirements through system behavior
Requirements
- Experience applying MBSE methods and tools to complex systems
- Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, including requirements and architecture
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional technical teams
- Experience supporting defense or mission-focused engineering efforts is preferred
