About the Role
Join a fast-moving, multidisciplinary team where your engineering and design experience helps shape the next generation of Pixel products. As a Lead Product Design Architect, you’ll identify, integrate, and validate emerging technologies that improve product performance and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Lead early product and technology definition with industrial design and product management partners
- Evaluate engineering tradeoffs across disciplines such as antennas, sensors, silicon, and battery systems
- Drive design, analysis, and prototyping of new concepts from feasibility through validation
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure parts and technologies progress toward manufacturing
- Validate new technologies to support reliable, iconic design and strong performance
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering background with experience in design, analysis, and prototyping
- Technical depth to discuss cross-disciplinary tradeoffs and system-level considerations
- Experience working in a manufacturing- and product-oriented development environment
- Strong collaboration skills with designers, product managers, and external partners
