About the Role
Blink Health is hiring a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist to support our mission of making prescriptions more accessible and affordable. In this role, you’ll help coordinate prior authorization requests to keep patients moving forward with their prescribed medications.
Responsibilities
- Review prescription and prior authorization requirements to determine next steps
- Submit and track prior authorization requests with payers and relevant stakeholders
- Communicate clearly with internal teams, pharmacies, and providers to resolve missing information
- Monitor request status and follow up to ensure timely decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation and update records as cases progress
Requirements
- Experience with prior authorization processes in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests
- Comfort working with healthcare workflows and payer requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
