About the Role
ABB is seeking a Plant Manager to lead multiple U.S. manufacturing locations for the Modernization and Parts business unit within the Electrification Service Division. This on-site role is based in Florence, South Carolina, and will help drive operational excellence across production, engineering, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Oversee plant operations across multiple sites within the Modernization and Parts business unit
- Lead production activities while coordinating with engineering, procurement, quality, and logistics teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Support modernization efforts and ensure reliable delivery of parts and services
- Manage cross-functional execution across locations to meet business and customer needs
Requirements
- Proven experience leading manufacturing operations, preferably across multiple sites
- Strong understanding of quality management and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to coordinate engineering, procurement, and logistics activities in a plant environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive results
