About the Role
Microsoft’s Azure AI Knowledge team is building agentic retrieval experiences that help enterprise customers create knowledge from both public and private data sources. Through Foundry IQ and Azure Knowledge Bases, you’ll help deliver the next generation of capabilities for complex queries that require reasoning and reflection.
Responsibilities
- Design and iterate LLM prompts and workflows for high-quality agentic retrieval
- Develop and improve methods to transform structured and unstructured enterprise data into usable knowledge
- Evaluate performance on complex query scenarios across varying industries and corpus sizes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new capabilities in production
Requirements
- Strong applied research background in LLMs, information retrieval, or agentic systems
- Experience building and evaluating retrieval/knowledge workflows in enterprise settings
- Proficiency with modern ML/NLP techniques and experimentation practices
