About the Role
Frontier AI Labs is a key partner ecosystem for MongoDB, shaping how and where AI applications are built. In this Principal Business Development Manager role, you’ll ensure MongoDB wins at that layer by owning end-to-end relationships with frontier model lab partners and translating those partnerships into measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of executive relationships with frontier model lab partners
- Partner with Product to strengthen the developer experience through deeper integrations
- Drive go-to-market execution for joint initiatives that deliver clear value to both organizations
- Coordinate internal alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to support partner outcomes
- Identify opportunities to expand partner ecosystems and influence architecture and tooling decisions
Requirements
- Senior business development experience managing executive-level partner relationships
- Strong strategic judgment with the ability to drive measurable outcomes
- Credibility and persistence when operating with external partners and internal stakeholders
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment
