About the Role
Wood Mackenzie is seeking a Principal Consultant to support clients across the power and renewables landscape. You’ll help deliver data-driven insights that connect the full energy value chain, enabling energy producers, utilities, financial institutions, and government stakeholders to make confident decisions.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced analytical thinking to develop sector and cross-sector insights for power and renewables.
- Use proprietary data and modeling approaches to produce clear, actionable recommendations.
- Partner with internal experts to connect insights across markets, regions, and the broader value chain.
- Support client engagements through consulting, analysis, and presentation of findings.
- Contribute to thought leadership that helps break down silos across industries and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong background in power markets and/or renewables, with demonstrated consulting or advisory experience.
- Expertise in analytics and the ability to translate complex information into clear narratives for stakeholders.
- Experience working with proprietary or large-scale datasets and analytical tools.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate across teams in a global, multi-stakeholder environment.
