About the Role
Tebra is hiring a Principal Engineer to help evolve our Medical Practice Software Platform. In this role, you will drive key architectural decisions, build customer- and clinician-facing capabilities, and strengthen the systems that power partner authentication and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and continuously improve the Medical Practice Software Platform
- Build and optimize a performance dashboard to support operational visibility
- Define and implement REST APIs and the surrounding service contracts
- Own system architecture and guide technical direction across related components
- Partner with offshore QA teams to support stable, high-quality releases
- Enhance and maintain the Partner Authentication System using OAuth 2.0
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and delivering platform-level software systems
- Proficiency designing RESTful APIs and service architectures
- Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and authentication/authorization systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams
- Proven track record of improving performance, reliability, and release quality
