About the Role
AiDASH is helping electric utilities strengthen grid resilience through its PreventionFirst™ platform, which unifies vegetation, asset, storm, and wildfire intelligence. As a Principal/Staff Security Engineer, you’ll help protect our platform and data while enabling secure, scalable innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve security architecture across services and infrastructure
- Lead threat modeling and security risk assessments for new and existing systems
- Partner with engineering teams to build security controls into CI/CD, cloud, and application layers
- Own security engineering deliverables such as secure design reviews, hardening guidance, and technical documentation
- Improve detection and response capabilities through logging, monitoring, and incident readiness
Requirements
- Strong experience in security engineering (cloud, application, and/or infrastructure security)
- Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives and influence technical decisions
- Practical knowledge of threat modeling, secure SDLC, and common security frameworks
- Experience working with modern cloud environments and scalable systems
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
