About the Role

AiDASH is helping electric utilities strengthen grid resilience through its PreventionFirst™ platform, which unifies vegetation, asset, storm, and wildfire intelligence. As a Principal/Staff Security Engineer, you’ll help protect our platform and data while enabling secure, scalable innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evolve security architecture across services and infrastructure
  • Lead threat modeling and security risk assessments for new and existing systems
  • Partner with engineering teams to build security controls into CI/CD, cloud, and application layers
  • Own security engineering deliverables such as secure design reviews, hardening guidance, and technical documentation
  • Improve detection and response capabilities through logging, monitoring, and incident readiness

Requirements

  • Strong experience in security engineering (cloud, application, and/or infrastructure security)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives and influence technical decisions
  • Practical knowledge of threat modeling, secure SDLC, and common security frameworks
  • Experience working with modern cloud environments and scalable systems
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
