About the Role
This is a National Guard Title 5 Excepted Service position with the AR ANG 189 MAI GP. In this supervisory role, you will lead the Quality Assurance Division and help ensure quality improvements, regulatory compliance, and mission readiness.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee Quality Assurance Division activities
- Set goals and objectives that align organizational priorities with quality objectives
- Establish, revise, and review policies, procedures, and organizational design to remove barriers to mission success
- Develop and implement quality improvement actions in response to regulatory compliance concerns
- Assign work to subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and coordinate resource needs
- Evaluate requirements for additional resources and balance division needs with overall mission requirements
- Identify and lead organizational changes to improve effectiveness
Requirements
- Experience supervising quality assurance functions or equivalent quality management work
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality improvement processes
- Ability to develop goals, set priorities, and manage team performance
- Strong planning and organizational skills
