Process Engineer Analyst (Paint Shop) - Full-Time Onsite

About the Role

Scout Motors is building the next generation of iconic American vehicles, and we’re looking for a Process Engineer Analyst to support our Paint Shop operations in Blythewood, SC. In this role, you’ll help improve processes that ensure high-quality finishes, efficient production, and continuous improvement across the paint workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze paint shop processes and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support root-cause investigations and help drive corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize work and reduce variability
  • Assist in documenting process requirements, work instructions, and process changes
  • Monitor key indicators (quality, yield, cycle time, and downtime) and recommend actions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation of changes

Requirements

  • Experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related industrial role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret production and quality data
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
  • Ability to work effectively with production, quality, and engineering stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, repeatable processes
