About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next generation of iconic American vehicles, and we’re looking for a Process Engineer Analyst to support our Paint Shop operations in Blythewood, SC. In this role, you’ll help improve processes that ensure high-quality finishes, efficient production, and continuous improvement across the paint workflow.
Responsibilities
- Analyze paint shop processes and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Support root-cause investigations and help drive corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize work and reduce variability
- Assist in documenting process requirements, work instructions, and process changes
- Monitor key indicators (quality, yield, cycle time, and downtime) and recommend actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation of changes
Requirements
- Experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related industrial role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret production and quality data
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
- Ability to work effectively with production, quality, and engineering stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, repeatable processes
