Preconstruction to construction transition
About the Role
As a Project Executive for our Electrical Division, you will lead assigned projects from preconstruction through construction to ensure safe execution, strong profitability, and on-time delivery. This is the highest management role at the project site, typically for large, complex jobs and/or multiple projects totaling $200M+.
Responsibilities
- Lead the orderly, timely transition of projects from estimating to the field, including coordination through project review meetings
- Champion execution of the work by maintaining alignment with quality, safety, and integrity standards
- Support and participate in marketing, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiation activities as assigned
- Provide leadership and management across site teams to drive performance against schedule and budget
- Ensure projects progress in a controlled manner from preconstruction activities (when assigned) into full construction
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex electrical construction projects at a senior leadership level
- Proven ability to oversee multiple workstreams and coordinate transitions between project phases
- Strong understanding of project execution, quality expectations, and risk management
- Experience supporting bid and contract-related processes, including negotiation participation when needed
