About the Role
Canonical is hiring a Project Manager for Ubuntu Embedded Systems within our Devices business. In this role, you’ll coordinate and drive the successful completion of large, complex, customer-facing projects. You will help align teams and execution across stakeholders to deliver outcomes that support enterprise and technology customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end delivery for complex customer projects
- Oversee project execution by tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Drive risk management, issue resolution, and proactive updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and with the expected scope and quality
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex, customer-facing projects
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and dependencies in a fast-moving environment
- Comfort working with distributed teams and global collaboration
- Interest in embedded systems and open source technologies is a plus
