About the Role

Join our team as a Quality Technician III on the 2nd shift at our Cummins Drivetrain and Breaking Systems Business Unit facility in Morristown, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll support engineers with inspection and production-related tasks, help monitor material quality across processing areas, and maintain accurate quality documentation and records.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product quality and compliance by comparing components, materials, and finished goods to technical specifications and identifying defects early.
  • Improve confidence in product performance by conducting functional, reliability, and packaging tests.
  • Support production and inspection activities to help prevent customer-impacting issues.
  • Monitor material quality in processing plants and recommend or help implement required adjustments.
  • Maintain required quality documentation, records, and related reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience working in quality, inspection, or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to compare product/components against technical specifications.
  • Comfort performing functional and reliability-style testing in a production setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and support engineers effectively.
