About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Rehab unit, you’ll deliver professional, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process—assessing needs, planning interventions, implementing care, and evaluating outcomes. You’ll work within assigned areas to support patients across the continuum of rehabilitation and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in line with the medical regimen and established standards, policies, and procedures, including care for ambulatory practice patients when applicable
- Initiate assessments based on presenting concerns, physician diagnoses, and the patient’s functional health needs at each visit
- Collect and document key information from patients and families, laboratory results, and other clinical reports
- Verify required treatment/procedure consents are completed and ensure prescribed patient identification steps are followed
- Develop nursing diagnoses and set care priorities, with an emphasis on patient education and discharge planning
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in inpatient care and comfort working within established clinical standards and documentation practices
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to collaborate with the care team to support patient outcomes
