About the Role
MerQube is seeking a Research Analyst to join our growing team in New York. You’ll support the development of index and rules-based investing solutions by contributing research that helps turn investment ideas into measurable, trackable index methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to support index design, calculation, and methodology documentation
- Assist in evaluating thematic, ESG, QIS, and delta one index approaches across asset classes
- Work with data and analytical tools to validate index performance assumptions
- Collaborate with team members to improve research workflows and reporting
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with comfort working with financial concepts and datasets
- Experience with research methods and building clear, accurate documentation
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-moving fintech environment
- Interest in indexing, rules-based investing, and data-driven strategy development
