About the Role

Join our team as a Scientist / Lab Manager to help translate deep human immunology into faster therapeutic discovery. You’ll be based in Waltham, MA through October 2026, then transition to our new, state-of-the-art research facilities in Cambridge, MA. This role blends lab leadership with hands-on bench science to support target validation and inform drug discovery strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily laboratory operations, including lab readiness, space planning, equipment allocation, and maintenance coordination
  • Ensure compliance and support robust, repeatable assay execution
  • Perform bench experiments to validate new immunology and respiratory targets
  • Generate clear data narratives that help guide decisions and advance programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to connect experimental results to discovery strategy

Requirements

  • Strong background in bioscience with experience in immunology and/or respiratory-related research
  • Proven ability to balance operational ownership with hands-on scientific work
  • Experience running assays and working with research data to support decision-making
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments where reliability, documentation, and rigor matter
