About the Role
Join a fast-growing, cloud-first cybersecurity organization focused on strengthening security assurance, data protection, and control maturity. You’ll help build a scalable control governance foundation by aligning security controls to NIST, improving risk-to-control mapping, and evolving from point-in-time evidence collection to continuous assurance and control effectiveness testing.
You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment partnering with engineering, product, data, legal, compliance, finance, accounting, and core systems teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to mature the security control assurance program, including testing and reporting approaches
- Improve risk-to-control mapping and ensure alignment to NIST control expectations
- Design and drive continuous assurance practices and meaningful control effectiveness testing
- Shape how evidence is collected, tested, automated, and embedded into cloud and engineering workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure controls are understood, implemented, and measured
Requirements
- Experience with security control assurance, governance, or risk-to-control mapping
- Strong understanding of NIST-aligned control frameworks and assurance practices
- Proven ability to partner across engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders
- Experience improving evidence and testing processes toward continuous assurance
