About the Role
Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior BESS Construction Manager to lead EPC construction activities for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. You’ll coordinate internal teams, installers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and aligned with performance and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee project teams involved in BESS construction, including in-house installers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Manage day-to-day EPC construction execution to support deployment and installation of Redwood energy products
- Ensure work is performed in alignment with project goals, technical requirements, and applicable standards
- Coordinate resources and schedules across stakeholders to keep milestones on track
- Support risk management through proactive oversight of field execution and contractor performance
Requirements
- Experience managing construction projects in an EPC environment
- Demonstrated ability to oversee subcontractors and vendor teams
- Strong understanding of construction delivery practices, safety expectations, and schedule management
- Ability to collaborate across technical and operational stakeholders
