About the Role
Join a team building the core simulation infrastructure that supports testing, validation, and debugging for an autonomous driving system. Your work will directly power daily simulation workflows used by QA, autonomy, ML, safety, and data science teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement foundational components of the simulation platform in high-performance C++
- Build and maintain modular simulation capabilities that support both full-system and component-level runs
- Collaborate with infrastructure and autonomy teams to integrate simulation workflows into distributed environments
- Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of critical simulation code paths
- Enable scalable execution on distributed compute clusters for large scenario throughput
Requirements
- Strong C++ experience with a focus on performance, correctness, and reliability
- Experience designing complex software systems and working with modular architectures
- Comfort working with distributed compute concepts and scalable execution patterns
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams across infrastructure and autonomy
Benefits
- Opportunity to build infrastructure that is used company-wide every day
- Work on simulation at scale, supporting large volumes of scenarios and metrics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across QA, autonomy, ML, safety, and data science
