About the Role
SMX is seeking a Senior Computer Information Systems Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for enterprise mission systems in a highly available classified environment. You will help ensure systems remain available, reliable, and performant while driving continuous service improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead operations for enterprise mission systems and associated services
- Monitor system availability and performance to maintain operational readiness
- Manage incident response and coordinate problem resolution activities
- Support and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
- Coordinate change management activities and related operational updates
- Support configuration management tasks to maintain system integrity
- Provide technical leadership to system administration personnel
- Ensure service-level agreement (SLA) compliance
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (as required for the role)
- Experience leading operations and incident/problem management for mission-critical systems
- Strong understanding of availability/performance monitoring and service improvement practices
- Ability to coordinate maintenance, change, and configuration management activities
