About the Role
Our client is hiring a Senior Construction Manager to lead multiple telecommunications construction projects, including aerial, underground, and fiber optic installations. You’ll drive safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery while ensuring all work aligns with company standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate telecommunications construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Manage schedules, budgets, and site progress to meet deliverables and due dates
- Provide leadership and direction to Construction Managers, Supervisors, and field crews
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements
- Monitor job sites to keep work on track and address issues before they impact milestones
Requirements
- Proven experience managing telecommunications construction projects (aerial, underground, and/or fiber)
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance, including OSHA and DOT requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication skills with clients, municipalities, and internal leadership
Work Location & Employment Type
- Contract-to-hire role based in Oak Brook, IL
- Primarily office-based with occasional field visits
