As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll design and deliver reliable data pipelines that enable teams to analyze performance, improve products, and understand customers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, processing, and delivery systems
- Partner with analytics and engineering teams to define data models and analytics-ready datasets
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure trustworthy reporting
- Drive best practices for data governance, documentation, and maintainability
Requirements
- Strong experience building production data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
- Proficiency with modern data engineering tools and distributed processing frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling for analytics use cases
- Comfort working with cloud-based infrastructure and scalable architectures
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly
