About the Role
Sand Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build reliable data foundations that power Physical AI solutions for critical industries. You’ll work with teams delivering real-world systems across healthcare, water, energy, telecommunications, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data services
- Develop and optimize data models to support analytics and AI use cases
- Improve data quality, reliability, and performance across production systems
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions
- Support deployment and operational best practices for data platforms
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in large-scale production environments
- Strong skills in building data pipelines and working with relational and/or distributed data systems
- Experience with cloud data tooling and modern data architecture patterns
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and troubleshoot complex issues
- Clear communication and a practical approach to delivering outcomes
