About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American brand—bringing rugged heritage into an electrified, digitized future. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to help shape the user experiences that connect our customers to products, powertrains, and services.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain frontend features across key customer-facing and internal applications
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable, high-quality UI
- Translate requirements into maintainable components, interfaces, and interaction flows
- Improve performance, accessibility, and usability across the frontend stack
- Contribute to engineering best practices through code reviews, testing, and documentation
Requirements
- Strong frontend engineering experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency with at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
- Experience building responsive, accessible web interfaces
- Comfort working with APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and collaboration skills
