About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next generation of iconic American vehicles—electrified, digitized, and powered by American innovation. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to help create polished, reliable user experiences across our digital products.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain frontend features with strong attention to performance and usability
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Partner with backend and platform teams to integrate APIs and services
- Continuously improve the frontend architecture, developer experience, and system reliability
Requirements
- Proven experience building production frontend applications
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with UI engineering practices such as accessibility, responsive design, and performance optimization
- Comfort working with APIs, authentication flows, and data-driven interfaces
- Ability to mentor teammates and contribute to technical decisions
