Senior Hardware Engineer (TPM) - Cloud Infrastructure (Remote/US)

About the Role

Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) builds the infrastructure and foundational technologies that power the Intelligent Cloud. We support Microsoft’s global online services—including Azure and productivity platforms—through server and data center engineering, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer and TPM, you’ll help enable the timely, high-quality, high-volume deployment of new cloud hardware and infrastructure capabilities—balancing performance, reliability, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and drive hardware infrastructure delivery from concept through deployment.
• Coordinate technical execution across engineering stakeholders to meet schedules, quality targets, and scale requirements.
• Identify risks and dependencies, and drive mitigation plans to keep programs on track.
• Contribute to hardware strategy and operational readiness for large-scale cloud environments.
• Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and status clearly to technical and non-technical partners.

Requirements

• Strong hardware engineering background with experience delivering infrastructure or platform hardware at scale.
• Proven TPM/program coordination skills across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Experience working with complex systems, timelines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze technical constraints and translate them into actionable plans and milestones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
