About the Role
Roku is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with DevOps/SRE expertise to help build and operate machine learning systems that support large-scale advertising and streaming experiences. You’ll work in a fast-moving environment where your contributions directly impact millions of viewers.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain ML pipelines and services with production reliability in mind
- Partner with engineering teams to improve performance, scalability, and observability for ML workloads
- Build and automate infrastructure workflows to streamline releases and operational support
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements to reliability and cost
- Collaborate on security and best practices for data, model, and service operations
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering ML solutions in production environments
- DevOps/SRE background with practical knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and containerized deployment patterns
- Experience with data pipelines and model lifecycle practices (training, evaluation, deployment)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
