Senior Product Designer (AI Builder) - Remote

About the Role

Babylist is looking for a Senior Product Designer (AI Builder) to shape the user experience and interaction quality across key parts of our product. In this role, you’ll be the primary driver of how features feel, think, and perform—balancing functional requirements with emotional resonance.

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and data partners, leading the experience layer from concept to launch while using AI-enabled approaches to speed up building and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Own UX, interaction design, and overall experience quality for your team’s product areas
• Design intuitive, beautiful flows across the full Babylist experience
• Conduct and synthesize user research to guide product decisions and improve usability
• Partner with engineers to translate design into high-quality, production-ready experiences
• Use AI-enabled methods to prototype, iterate, and improve interaction design outcomes
• Ensure each interaction meets both user needs and business goals

Requirements

• Proven experience as a product designer with strong UX and interaction design skills
• Comfort running research and turning findings into actionable design changes
• Ability to think end-to-end about user journeys and cross-surface flows
• Strong collaboration skills with product, engineering, and data stakeholders
• Experience working with AI-assisted tools or building AI-enabled product experiences (preferred)
