About the Role

Apex is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects that directly support healthy communities and environmental protection. You’ll take ownership of project delivery, guide cross-functional teams, and help ensure clients receive high-quality outcomes from planning through closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project execution for water/wastewater initiatives, including schedule, budget, and overall delivery
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors
  • Drive risk management, change control, and timely issue resolution to keep projects on track
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support retention through proactive communication
  • Ensure work meets applicable standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Experience managing engineering or construction projects in water and/or wastewater
  • Strong leadership and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project planning, cost/schedule tracking, and contract deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and industry standards for water/wastewater projects
