About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in the brokerage and financial services domain to help ensure quality across web applications, APIs, and distributed microservices. You’ll build and maintain automation frameworks and partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable software in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks for web apps, APIs, and microservices
- Build API automation tests for REST and SOAP services using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or Karate
- Test serverless and event-driven workflows on AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, and EventBridge
- Perform end-to-end testing across distributed microservices, asynchronous messaging, and enterprise integrations
- Validate API Gateway implementations, RESTful APIs, and contract-first API approaches
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer in the brokerage or financial services space
- Hands-on automation experience with Selenium and/or Playwright using Java and/or Python
- Strong API testing skills for REST and SOAP
- Experience testing AWS serverless and event-driven systems
- Ability to work with distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous messaging
