About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Scheduler to support large, complex heavy civil rail transit programs using Communications Based Train Control (CBTC). In this on-site role in New York, you’ll act as the scheduling subject-matter expert, partnering with project managers, design and operations leaders, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure plans are accurate, executable, and aligned to contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules across multiple concurrent design and construction efforts
- Validate scope, resources, and constraints against the schedule to support delivery of contractual milestones
- Collaborate with project teams to assess impacts to critical path, sequencing, and near-term execution plans
- Provide schedule-based analytical insights to support decision-making, risk mitigation, and planning adjustments
- Support claims management by maintaining schedule documentation and traceable schedule logic
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure updates reflect current field conditions, design status, and operational needs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a scheduler on large infrastructure or rail transit projects
- Strong understanding of integrated master scheduling and schedule analysis
- Experience working with project controls concepts such as critical path, constraints, and milestone validation
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate schedule findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with CBTC-related project planning and/or rail transit delivery processes is strongly preferred
