About the Role
Waymo is seeking a Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to help design and refine the hardware that powers the “eyes and ears” of autonomous driving. In this role, you’ll partner across engineering disciplines to ensure high-speed electrical performance and reliable operation in real-world vehicle environments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot signal integrity issues across high-speed hardware designs
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, reliability, software, and vehicle teams to support product development
- Develop and validate simulation and measurement approaches for signal integrity performance
- Support design reviews, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvements to hardware quality
Requirements
- Strong background in signal integrity for high-speed electronic systems
- Experience with modeling, simulation, and/or measurement workflows
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional engineering teams
- Solid engineering judgment to diagnose issues and recommend practical design changes
