About the Role
WHOOP is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the software infrastructure behind manufacturing for prototype, NPI, and mass production. In this role, you’ll own key parts of the automated test platform architecture that supports reliable, scalable production of WHOOP hardware.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a Python-based manufacturing platform for automated testing across engineering builds and high-volume production
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Firmware, Hardware, and Quality teams to deliver tools and services that improve throughput and reliability
- Build and evolve backend services and infrastructure that support scalable manufacturing workflows
- Help ensure devices are produced efficiently while meeting rigorous quality standards
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python and backend software development
- Experience designing and maintaining production-grade systems and services
- Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering and quality partners
