About the Role
Samsara is looking for a Senior Sourcing Analyst to support sourcing and procurement activities that help improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability across physical operations. In this role, you’ll help analyze supplier information, support strategic sourcing decisions, and contribute to scalable improvements for teams working on connected operations solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze supplier data and sourcing inputs to support category and sourcing strategy
- Assist with vendor evaluation, pricing analysis, and bid/award support
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and drive sourcing outcomes
- Maintain organized documentation for sourcing activities, decisions, and reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and supply continuity through data-driven insights
Requirements
- Experience in sourcing, procurement analytics, or supplier analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing and performance data
- Comfort working cross-functionally and communicating insights clearly
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools (e.g., Excel)
