About the Role
Apex is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to help design safe, efficient, and durable structures that serve communities and stand the test of time. In this hybrid role in Providence, you’ll join a collaborative AEC team where your expertise drives real-world outcomes and your growth is actively supported.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering efforts across assigned projects, from early design through delivery
- Develop and review structural calculations, models, and design documentation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to meet technical and schedule goals
- Perform plan and detail reviews to ensure constructability, code compliance, and quality
- Support mentoring and technical guidance for team members as needed
Requirements
- Professional experience delivering structural engineering solutions for buildings and/or civil-related projects
- Strong understanding of applicable building codes, structural analysis, and design practices
- Proficiency with structural design tools and engineering documentation
- Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating in a team environment
