About the Role
Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead product security programs that help protect our platforms and enable our mission teams to move fast with confidence. You’ll coordinate across engineering, security, and product to drive clear plans, measurable risk reduction, and reliable execution.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive technical program plans for product security initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Translate security requirements into execution roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to reduce security risk in critical product areas.
- Establish metrics and reporting to track progress, adoption, and outcomes.
- Identify program gaps, remove blockers, and ensure teams align on priorities and timelines.
- Partner with engineering and security stakeholders to improve processes for secure development and release readiness.
Requirements
- Experience as a technical program manager in a security- or risk-focused environment.
- Strong ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with common security practices and SDLC/security review processes.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain tradeoffs and plans to varied audiences.
- Track record of delivering measurable outcomes through structured planning and execution.
