About the Role
MongoDB is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join the Voyage Control Plane team. In this role, you’ll help build and evolve the systems that manage and coordinate platform capabilities, enabling reliable operation at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain services that support control-plane functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver improvements to platform reliability and performance
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot issues in production and implement durable fixes
- Participate in planning, estimation, and delivery of technical work
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems
- Proficiency with at least one modern programming language commonly used in backend services
- Experience with distributed systems concepts and scalable architectures
- Comfort working in a collaborative engineering environment with code review and iterative delivery
