About the Role
Origami builds and deploys AI research agents that collect context for B2B sales teams—just like a top-performing human rep. As one of our first engineering hires, you’ll help shape the foundation of our product and engineering practices from the ground up.
This is not a “follow the specs” role. You’ll influence our architecture, improve our delivery process, and leave your mark across the technology stack and company direction.
Responsibilities
- Design and build core product components for AI-driven research agents
- Develop scalable systems that support fully automated workflows
- Collaborate directly with the engineering team to make high-impact technical decisions
- Iterate quickly as we grow from early stage to broader deployment
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems
- Comfort working with ambiguous problems and shipping iteratively
- Ability to collaborate closely with a small team and drive technical decisions
