Software Engineer (Level 02) | TS/SCI Cleared + Polygraph Required | On-Call | Fort Meade, MD

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Level 02) to support mission-critical federal programs. This role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph (completed within the last five years). You will help build and maintain software services and support system operations, including on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and integrate user interfaces with ReactJS and JavaScript
• Work with event streaming and data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Apache NiFi
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Docker Compose
• Manage builds and dependencies with Maven
• Design, query, and optimize data interactions with SQL databases
• Provide on-call support to ensure system operations run smoothly

Requirements

• US citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph (polygraph must be within the last five years)
• 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited institution
• 4 additional years of relevant experience on projects
