About the Role
Join Playa Largo Resort & Spa as a Host/Hostess for Sol by The Sea. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, helping create a smooth, welcoming dining experience while supporting daily food and beverage operations.
Responsibilities
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Complete daily food and beverage operational procedures in accordance with hotel and brand standards
- Maintain food and beverage safety and quality requirements based on hotel, Shaner, and franchise specifications
- Communicate with the General Manager, department managers, supervisors, and team members to support service flow
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and assist with seating
- Help prepare the restaurant for service and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
- Take, record, and confirm reservations according to department guidelines
- Monitor guest needs and support all phases of day-to-day restaurant operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role (as specified by the employer)
- Strong guest service mindset and professional communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and service standards
