About the Role
Redwood Materials is seeking a Staff Electrical Design Engineer to lead end-to-end electrical design for industrial, office, and laboratory facilities across multiple locations. In this role, you’ll own electrical deliverables from concept through construction, helping ensure our projects are safe, compliant, and built to perform.
Responsibilities
- Own electrical design workstreams from early concept through construction support
- Develop and review electrical deliverables for industrial, office, and lab environments
- Coordinate with internal teams and EPC stakeholders to keep designs aligned with project goals
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support construction by answering technical questions and validating installation assumptions
Requirements
- Experience delivering electrical design for facilities or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and engineering practices
- Proven ability to manage deliverables end-to-end and drive work to completion
- Effective cross-functional communication with engineering, construction, and project teams
