Staff Maintenance Expediter (VBAT Depot) | Onsite

About the Role

Shield AI is hiring a highly organized, mission-driven Maintenance Expediter to support the VBAT Depot Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll help keep aircraft maintenance moving by coordinating priorities, planning upcoming work, and removing obstacles that slow technicians down.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day maintenance flow for VBAT aircraft to ensure technicians have the right parts, tools, ground support equipment, and job information.
• Plan and schedule upcoming maintenance activities to support an efficient depot workflow.
• Order, track, and manage parts and materials needed to complete maintenance tasks on time.
• Stage and position required support equipment so work can start without delays.
• Bridge communication between technicians, supply chain, production leadership, and support equipment teams to keep work progressing.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks that prevent aircraft from returning to service efficiently.

Requirements

• Prior military aviation maintenance experience (preferred).
• Understanding of the urgency, tempo, and coordination required in aircraft maintenance operations.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Highly organized with a proven ability to track priorities, parts, and schedules.
