About the Role
Lucid is building exceptional mobility experiences by pairing proprietary technology with software-defined vehicle architecture. We’re looking for a Staff QA and Test Infrastructure Development Engineer to help strengthen the quality and validation systems that support our vehicles and software throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain QA and test infrastructure to support reliable validation at scale
- Build test frameworks and automation tooling that improve coverage, repeatability, and efficiency
- Partner with engineering teams to define test strategy, create test plans, and establish quality gates
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing test results, identifying gaps, and refining processes
- Ensure systems are maintainable, secure, and well-instrumented for troubleshooting and reporting
Requirements
- Experience building QA/test automation frameworks and infrastructure
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to deliver reliable tooling
- Proficiency with CI/CD concepts and test execution workflows
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate quality needs into technical solutions
- Experience working in complex, high-reliability product environments (automotive or similar preferred)
