About the Role
Join Google’s Trust & Safety team as a Strategic Risk Manager focused on preventing abuse and protecting user and partner integrity across Google products. You’ll help identify major safety risks, coordinate responses to high-sensitivity escalations, and partner with engineering and product teams to act quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess cross-product abuse, fraud, and integrity risks using technical expertise and user insights
- Lead strategic, cross-functional efforts to respond to urgent incidents and crisis escalations
- Coordinate and synthesize information across teams to connect the dots during complex cases
- Drive proactive communication and alignment across engineering, product, and operational partners
- Contribute to improving processes that strengthen trust and user safety at speed
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think at both strategic and operational levels
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
- Technical know-how and comfort analyzing safety and integrity issues
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency when addressing high-impact incidents
