About the Role
SpaceX is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the Launch Pad development team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of engineers to design, build, and activate a second orbital launch pad and related infrastructure that expands Starship’s launch capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project team and coordinate with consulting engineers and contractors across civil and structural engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Create and release drawings, design documentation, and engineering reports for civil/structural scope
- Support planning and execution of design reviews, construction support, and commissioning activities
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet technical requirements, schedules, and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience with civil and structural engineering for large-scale industrial or aerospace infrastructure
- Strong ability to produce and review engineering drawings and design documentation
- Proven leadership skills working with internal teams, consultants, and contractors
- Comfort partnering through procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
